PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive transmission mechanism which optimize the tension of a belt at the time of driving a carrying roll or the like of an ADF device through the belt by a driving motor. SOLUTION: The mechanism is provided with a belt 52 which transmits a driving force to a driven pulley 20a from the driving motor through a pulley 50, a tension bracket (pressing force giving member) 53 which biases the belt 52 in a tension giving direction, and a flat spring 58 which biases the pressing force giving member in the tension giving direction.
