PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of detecting the jamming of sheet materials independently of a dispersion due to an individual difference of the image forming device or a sheet material carrying DC brushless motor, and a jamming detection method during carrying of the sheet materials. SOLUTION: In the image forming device where the sheet materials are carried by the CD brushless motor, the jamming is detected during carrying the sheet materials, based on a time tref±t0 for detecting the jamming of the sheet materials depending on actual rotating speed information for the DC brushless motor. |
