PURPOSE:To check arithmetic results of both control parts of a double system, by coding the arithmetic result of each controller and then by transferring the coded data to the other controller for comparison. CONSTITUTION:The data transmission part of control part A is coupled with the data reception part of control part B, and the data transmission part of control part B with the data reception part of control part A respectively. Each control part performs control arithmetic according to the contents of a program memory and the check sum of the arithmetic result is calculated and sent to the party-side data reception part via the data transmission part. Further, the check sum sent from the party is received and the both are compared to each other by a check sum comparison part; when the both agree to each other, the arithmetic result is output to the output part and when disagreeing, the output part is locked. |
