The razor comprises a handle and a head, with one or more cutting edges, together with a blade support plate and a blade dispensing holder. The plate (505) comprises an oblong portion (526) and a compartment (512) open to the top at one end. Portions (540, 541) protruding from the oblong portion guide the holder into its position on the latter, and second protruding portions (523, 524) pre-load the holder against the first ones. Third such portions detachably engage with the handle (12) so as to insert the cutting edge in the compartment.
