<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive sodium electrolytic refining method for efficiently purifying a contaminated sodium by an electrolytic refining by utilizing aβ-alumina pipe, and to provide a treating method of radial sodium waste using this. SOLUTION: Radioactive sodium which should be treated is fed to an electrolytic refining tank, provided with aβ-alumina pipe and is subjected to an electrolytic refining in the electrolytic refining tank to be refined into sodium with high purity. The high-purity sodium thus obtained is stored in a refined sodium recovery tank, whereas the radioactive sodium which overflowed from the electrolytic refining tank is recovered in an overflow tank, and the radioactive sodium recovered is circulated to a sodium feed tank. After a radial sodium waste obtained is turned into a sodium compound in a reactor, it is kept as a solid form, etc.</p> |
