PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric energy control method and an electric energy control device by which a consumer can easily obtain information on an electric power difference between a contract electric energy that is contracted and a consumed electric energy that is consumed, and the electric energy can easily be controlled. SOLUTION: This electric energy control method includes the following: a stage that the contract electric energy contracted by the consumer and the consumed electric energy consumed by the consumer are inputted and stored; a display stage that information on the electric power difference between the contract electric energy and the consumed electric energy is displayed through a network; and a stage that the electric power difference between the contract electric energy and the consumed electric energy is obtained and, depending on the electric power difference, the price of the contract electric energy is set or the breach of the contract is dealt with.
