Sorting equipment for colour reprographic(s) - has adjustable scan head to classify masters for simpler series processing

A sorting equipment for colour reproduction has an adjustable scanning head mounted over a support trolley for the separate colour masters. The density distribution and the graduation curve are measured for each master and a computer collects masters with similar values for assembling on a common scanning drum. The system provides a rapid sorting of the masters for fast yet accurate drum scan. The measuring head, (1) is held over the support trolley with a scanning lamp inside a closed housing. The scanner is monitored by an ocular (3) on the side of the measuring head. The user is able to sort the masters without special skill and without a long scan process.
