<p>Each of the two side parts comprises a pair of vertical legs connected together by a horizontal cross member (16) to form an H-shaped element. A reinforcement cross is provided comprising two T-shaped elements which each comprise a rod and crosspiece wherein the two rods of each T element are linked together by a pin to form a shear or scissor like connection. Each first cross part or each T element has a connecting element with two arms orthogonal, relative to each other of which the first is attached to the first crosspiece while the second is displaceably inserted in a corresponding bore in the leg so that it is possible to bring the chair from a first position unfolded with the side parts parallel to but spaced from each other into a second position where the side parts although still parallel are closer together and the two rods of the element of the reinforcement cross are parallel to each other.</p> |
