Measurement insert clamp device for electrical thermometers - has corrugated tube acting as sealing and clamp element

A clamping device for measurement inserts is esp. for electrical thermometers with measurement insert tubes e.g. for resistance and thermoelement thermometers. It is a simple device universally applicable with connecting heads and plugs and with large numbers of contacts. It is resistant to vibration and enables application of large clamping forces with reliable sealing of the tubes. The sealing tube element acts also as the sprung clamp element and is in the form of a longitudinally elastically expandable corrugated tube. The tube expansion is sufficient to compensate measurement point positional variations and the stiffness sufficient to enable application of the clamping force. The corrugated tube has a rotational intermediate element connecting it to the contact head with longitudinal security.
