Cooling segments of high-power turbogenerator stator laminations ensure intensified heat removal and include the ends of the stack. This is achieved with a single head featuring one inlet and one outlet connection although several parallel flows are provided in each cooling segment. The increased heat exchange is thus obtained without complicating the hydraulic circuit. The cooling segment (I) is made up of two jointed halves is pressed in channels between packs of stator laminations (2) which are tapered at the end near the pack pressing plates (3). The segment has a top projection (9) forming the distributor head K where recesses are formed for inlet and outlet of the coolant with openings for the three parallel flows extending from the top to the stator teeth zone.
