PURPOSE:To obtain a water repellent and rustling dry capsule by dissolving a copolymer of a specific carbon-numbered straight chain alpha-olefin and maleic anhydride in an aqueous vehicle in the manufacture of micro capsules. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of micro capsules with a hydrophobic substance forming the core substance in an aqueous vehicle, a copolymer of a 4-14C straight chain alpha-olefin, e.g., 1-butene, 1-hexane, etc., with maleic anhydride in an aqueous vehicle. Thus, the emulsification of the hydrophobic substance in the aqueous vehicle can be made smooth, and the water repellency of the micro capsules manufactured is raised and thus a rustling powder can be easily obtained by drying the capsules. |
