PURPOSE:To enable ink of constant temperature to be fed to the nozzle without influence of the ambient temperature by housing the entire ink supply system into a thermostatic box having adiabatic effect. CONSTITUTION:The thermostatic box 12 housing the entire ink supply system which is composed of a pump 1, an accumulator 2 a three-way valve 3, filters 4 and 10, ink reservoir 11 and an ink conduit connecting them uses a heat insulator such as foamed polystyrol and is provided with an air circulation channel 13 for uniform temperature distribution in the box. A heater 14 and a fan 15 are provided on a part of the box. A temperature detection element 16 is provided in the box. Additionally provided are the detection circuit 17 for converting the temperature detected into the electric signal and the control circuit 18 for starting and stopping the heater 14 and the fan 14 receiving the electric signal. The temperature in the thermostatic box 12 is detected by a temperature detection element 16 to switch on or off the heater 14 provided in the air circulation channel 13 thereby controlling the temperature at a constant level. |
