<p>The brake disc fastening for a light alloy wheel hub (2) has the inside edge of the disc with tags (4) to fit behind radial tags (5) on the hub, for fastening with wheel studs (14). The assembly provides a strong wheel without complex sleeving of the light alloy threads, by having the light alloy tags clamped between the brake disc tags and the wheel disc. The brake disc and the hub are located over each other by countersunk screws with non torque bearings. To fit the disc its tage are aligned with the slots between the hub tags and pressed inwards. A slight rotation brings the brake tags behind the hub tags for securing with the countersunk screws. The wheel studs are secured in threaded holes in the brake disc tags.</p> |
