PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic coagulation device with a small-sized hand piece. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic coagulation device is composed of the hand piece 10 provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 11 and a driving unit 20 provided with a signal generator 21 for supplying driving signals to the ultrasonic vibrator of the hand piece, irradiates a testee body P with ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic vibrator and thermally coagulates tissues. The ultrasonic vibrator is formed of at least one planar element and the planar elements are arranged on the same plane. Thus, while miniaturizing the generation source of the ultrasonic waves for treatment, the treatment is performed over a relatively wide range.
