PURPOSE:To accomplish a smooth operation by allowing the main ram to be separated from or engaged with the mechanical ram through the rotation of the rotary disc provided on the movable locking disc in the hydromechanical mechanism for driving the die clamping device of the injection molding machine. CONSTITUTION:The fixed disc 2 and the die clamping cylinder 3 are fixed on the machine bed 1, a movable disc 5 is supported on the stay 4 therebetween and moved back and forth at a high speed by a hydraulic cylinder 6 to open or close the die. A locking disc 9 is provided movably along the stay 4 between the die clamping cylinder 3 and the movable disc of the equipment. A rotary disc 13 having a plurality of through holes to allow a plurality of mechanical rams 8 to run therethrough is fitted rotatively into the center of the locking disc, while the main ram 12 having a hollow portion adapted to have the mechanical ram moving thereinto is inserted into the die clamping cylinder 3. The main ram is allowed to be separated from or engaged with the mechanical ram 8 by the rotation of the rotary disc 13 thereby accomplishing the smooth operation. |
