<p>In a method for making a wall covering, a paper 1, of the type normally used for application to walls, carrying a film of a thermoplastics material e.g. polyvinyl chloride, the film is softened and a plurality of adjoining yarns 5 of natural fibre e.g. of jute, flax and cotton applied thereto with pressure, said yarns being preliminary impregnated by a water repellant substance or being covered by a thermoplastics material. <IMAGE></p> |
