The key code is generated by a device linked to a lock code generator. The key code generator operates independently from the lock code generator and is provided with a output mechanism for the generated code. The inside of the box (1) is accessible via a door panel (4) opened and closed using an electronic code lock. An input device for the key code is provided in order to release the lock. The door panel is mounted in a frame (5) in a wall (6). Independent claims are also included for (a) the key-lock combination, and (b) the key code generator.
