Swashplate hydraulic pump or motor with pumping chamber interconnection means

The hydraulic pump or motor has inlet and outlet hydraulic line connections. A swashplate is linked to a rotor(25) through a rotating shaft to vary the volume of chambers(not shown) within the rotor between maximum and minimum values. Switching means such as rotor ports(27) allow chamber connection to the inlet and outlet lines as required. Connecting lines(26,34,35) are provided between chambers with closure means(36) to close the line after a limited volume of fluid has passed through the line in one direction.
