PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luggage carrier stand capable of stably assembling a luggage carrier on a stanchion by securing a tripodal support with approximately equivalent angle for the stanchion from smaller diameter to larger diameter. SOLUTION: The luggage carrier stand pivotably attaches a thread shaft 2 cutting a positive and a negative male thread 8, 9 to the luggage carrier 1, threadably engages to oppose a first and a second clamped arm 10, 11 to the positive and the negative male thread 8, 9 of the thread shaft 2 respectively, enables to equip clamped fingers 12, 13 including an inside slant face 15, 16 permitting the first and the second clamped arm 10, 11 to forwardly tilt in an opposed direction, forms a first and a second pressed point P1, P2 against the stanchion 5 at each inside slant face 15, 16 of each clamed finger 12, 13 of the first and the second clamped arm 10, 11 according to shift, in an access direction of the first and the second clamped arm 10, 11 in accordance with pivot of the thread shaft 2 and at the same time forms a received pressure point P3 by pressing front side of the stanchion 5 to a received pressure part 21 of the luggage carrier 1 by means of each pressing in the first and second pressed point P1, P2 and support the stanchion 5 in tripodal fashion.
