PURPOSE:To mold a ceramic hollow body which does not need an inner face treatment, by casting a slip containing a ceramic powder and an aqueous or organic dispersion medium in a water-absorbing mold of a specific shape and making the ceramic powder to a specified thickness while a forced flow is generated in the casted slip. CONSTITUTION:A slip containing silicon nitride, a sintering aid and water is cast in a cavity 5. Then, a rotating body 2 is sunk therein in such a way that a rotating blade 21 is buried in this cast slip and this blade 21 is rotated by driving a motor with no. of revolutions so as not to drag air thereinto. A layer of the ceramic 4 is formed by depositing the ceramic powder in the slip 3 on the mold face of this plaster mold 1 for 30min. Then, the rotating body 2 is taken out of the cavity 5 and thereafter the slip is discharged and the mold is released. As the uniformity of the slip is thereby kept, the thickness of the deposited layer becomes uniform and unevenness of the inner face can be thereby very small. |
