PURPOSE:An antitumor agent having a great activity, with reduced side effects, comprising a compound, obtained by combining a purified antibody induced from a tumor antigen with an antitumor substance through an amide linkage, as an active constituent. CONSTITUTION:An antitumor agent comprising a compound, obtained by combining an antibody which is purified from an immunoglobulin fraction induced from an antitumor antigen, e.g. sarcoma 180, Sato's lung cancer, L-1210 leukemia, or Ehrlich's cancer, through affinity chromatography, with an antitumor substance, e.g. mitomycin C, doxorubicin hydrochloride, bleomycin, or daunorbicin, having an amino or carboxyl group through an amide linkage, as an active constituent. The combination with the antibody renders the active constituent accessible to the tumor site effectively, and permits the reduction in side effects of the substance without losing the activity. |
