<p>Machine intended for the upkeep of dividing banks and hedges, delimiting pasturage and cultivated land. It consists of a frame (1) supported at three points on a tractor comprising at the rear a transverse horizontal shaft (2) pivoting on two bearings (3) and on which shaft a support (4) is fixed, which comprises a toothed sector (5) provided with holes making possible immobilisation by broaching (at 6). This support plate supports two bearings (7, 8) in which a shaft (9) pivots, which supports a wheel (11) on which the cutting tools (12) are fixed with the aid of chains (15). A protector (16) in the form of a portion of a cylindrical collar is arranged concentrically with the wheel and pivots about a shaft (17) parallel to the shaft (9): its internal face is lined with small bars (18) arranged along the generatrices, causing the splintering and the shredding of the elements of branches cut by the tools (12). The rotary drive is effected from the power take-off of the tractor. The invention applies more specifically for the grinding of bushes and shrubs invading fallow land. <IMAGE></p> |
