DIAZO PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo photosensitive material capable of forming an image of high density and contrast by adding org. high polymer powder with specified properties to a photosensitive layer or a precoat layer. CONSTITUTION:Porous irregular powder of an org. high polymer such as urea- formaldehyde resin is added to a photosensitive layer or a precoat layer. The powder is formed by the secondary cohesion of fine particles of about 0.05-0.15mu particle size, and it is about 3-10mu in size, about 80-95% in voids and about 20-30m<2>/g in specific surface area. When the powder is blended into the photosensitive layer, the amount is about 100-500wt% to the amount of the contained coloring components (diazo compound and coupler). The photosensitive diazo compound used is preferably represented by formula I and the coupler used by formula II.
