PURPOSE:To accurately detect and announce the life of consumables such as developer by detecting and counting the number of revolutions of a developing roller and actuating an alarm device when said count value reaches a set value. CONSTITUTION:The output of a detector 26 is the one obtained by passing the ON- OFF signal of a Hall element 28 through an amplifier 30 and this output is supplied to a counter 31. The contents of this counter 31 are supplied to a comparator 32. The set value having beforehand been set in the comparator and the contents of the counter 31 are compared and when both coincide, a signal is output to an alarm device 34. |
