<p>PURPOSE:To enable an immediate obtaining of an unoccupied shelf signal in such a manner as designates a shelf number by a method wherein the idea of a crossbar type exchanger in a telephone communication is applied to a delivery-despatch control in a large-scale warehouse. CONSTITUTION:A main control system 10 for a warehouse 14 is constituted so that an unoccupied shelf signal 13 can be obtained immediately following outputting of a shelf number to decoders 15 and 16. An unoccupied shelf signal output device 18 is located in each shelf, and signals can be transmitted and received between adjoining shelves. The signal output device 18 consists of 2 AND elements 23 and 24 and a NOT element 25, and outputs and actuates corresponding to comparision between a x-axis crossbar input 11 and a y-axis crossber input 12 and according to the presence of objects on the shelf. This causes less wiring of a signal line wired all among the shelves, and permits the improvement of a safety of a control.</p> |
