PURPOSE:To enhance manufacturing yield of a fluorescent display tube as well as lengthen its life by forming an anodic segment of a conductive material consisting primarily of silver oxide or indium oxide. CONSTITUTION:A baked distributing electrode 6 is formed on an window glass base plate 5, then an insulating layer 7 is formed by screen-printing a low-melting glass paste on the distributing electrode 6, followed by baking the low-melting glass paste thus printed, then a conductive film 8 of In2-xSnxO3+delta is formed on the insulating layer 7, and lastly a fluorescent substance layer 9 is laminated on the conductive film 8 of the base plate 5 by segmentally screen-printing a bluish green color fluorescent substance (ZnO:Zn) on the film 8 and then baking it. The anodic base plate glass 4 thus formed is combined with a control electrode and a filament by means of a tool and then the assembly is sealed with a cover glass to obtain a fluorescent display tube. |
