Glycerylphosphoryl derivatives having the general formula in which R represents H or COOH, while R<1> represents H or CH3, (in particular glycerylphosphorylcholine, glycerylphosphorylethanolamine and glycerylphosphorylserine) are used, alone or in combination, in the therapy of dislipaemia, alcoholism, acute, sub-acute and chronic hepatitis, steatosis and analogous pathological conditions. The administration can be oral or parenteral.
