PURPOSE:To provide bio-compatibility, to enhance strength and to obtain a material having hue near to that of a live bone, by mixing a specific glass powder and a ceramic powder in a predetermined ratio and baking the resulting mixture to subject the same to hot isotropic molding. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of a ceramic powder selected from zirconia ceramics, alumina ceramics and zirconia-alumina ceramics is mixed with a glass powder, which contains 12-56% CaO, 1-27% P2O5, 22-50% SiO2, 0-34% MgO and 0-25% Al2O3 and reaches 90% or more in the content of these components, on the basis of wt. percentage. This mixture is molded to be preparatorily baked at 650-1500 deg.C and subjected to hot isotropic press molding at 900-1500 deg.C under pressure higher than that at the preparatory baking. |
