CONSTITUTION:Of an ion-exchange resin water supply unit, column 3 is made airtight by pushing-up cylinder 13 with seal rings 10 and 14 and at this time, the tip of injection nozzle 20 is placed under the surface of swelling liquid 16 at any time. Under the conditions like this, radioactive sample water is supplied and vacuum pump 6 is put into operation to form an airtight air layer of upper lid 11 and seal ring 10 at the upper of the column; and the seal never gets wet and the flow Q1 of the vacuum column becomes equal to supply flow Q2 from sample supply container 1, thereby shortening greatly the water supply time from t1 to (t).
