PURPOSE:To enable to ignite engine with an extremely small rotation, through provision of a differential amplifier which is afforded with an superposed output of ignition signal and bias voltage and a setting voltage and produces an output for inverting the operation level through comparison of the level of said superposed output and the setting voltage. CONSTITUTION:An ignition system of this invertion comprises a pickup 1 for producing an ignition signal in synchronism with rotation of engine, a bias circuit 2 which produces a bias voltage corresponding to the engine speed and superposes the bias voltage on said ignition signal, a wave-form shaping circuit, etc. Here, the wave-form shaping circuit is arranged as differential amplifier 10 having a first input terminal 101 for receiving said superposed output and a second input terminal 102 for receiving the output of switching level setting circuit 21 which produces a setting voltage varied with engine speed. Output transistor Tr5 is controlled by the output of this amplifier 10. Further, a hysteresis setting circuit 22 for lowering the voltage at terminal 102 when transistor Tr5 is energized is provided additionally in the differential amplifier 10. |
