A circuit arrangement for transmitting an oscillation having a d.c. component whose level may change abruptly when a first control signal varies, the arrangement comprising a first high pass filter. Compensation for the change .in the d.c. component is provided by a second control signal derived from the first control signal and applied through a second high pass filter.
