PURPOSE:To prepare a daigaku imo (sweet potato cut, heated or fried, and mixed with sirup of sugar and soy sauce) efficiently and sanitarily, by stirring sweet potato pieces in a pouch containing the sirup in the bottom. CONSTITUTION:A given amount of sirup a is put into the bottom 1b of the pouch B, and wrapped while removing air to give the pouch B containing the sirup. In preparing a daigaku imo, the pouch is spread, heated in a water bath to improve the flow of the sirup. Preheated sweet potato pieces are put into the pouch B, which is closed and swung around by hands to mix the pieces with the sirup. The pouch containing the resulting imo is sealed and shipped. |
