<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce the original taste and color of an edible wild plant after it is thawed, by soaking the edible wild plant in salt water and hot lye solution sucessively, followed by cleaning, dehydrating and rapid freezing. CONSTITUTION:Fresh edible wild plants are thrown to the soaking bath 1 of salt water, and transported by the conveyor 2 to the soaking bath 4 of high-temperature lye solution so that color development and removal of harshness are carried out. The edible wild plants are cleaned relatively for a long period of time by the washing means 6 which being transferred by the conveyor 5 and sent to the dehydrater 7, where they are dehydrated and packed in a fixed amount in a container for freezing and fed to the quickly cooling freezer 8 so that the edible wild plant is rapidly frozen. They are transported from the packaging process 9 as products by the conveyor 10. The process after the soaking in the lye solution is carried out in the sterilized chamber 3.</p> |
