摘要 PURPOSE:To easily perform a machining work of complicated patterns, by setting a wire electrode to the position of an optional tilt angle, that is, by providing a machining axis adjustment device that shifts one of the electrode guides in the diametrical direction with respect to a reference machining axis. CONSTITUTION:An electric discharge is performed between a wire electrode 16 and work 10. An electrode guide 24 is shifted by a distance of r1 toward the direction of an arrow mark A along the diametrical direction of a reference machining axis 100. This causes a wire electrode 16 to be shifted to an adjusted position displaced by an angle of alpha from the reference machining axis 100 in its machining place. Then the tilt angle is determined by the shifting amount r1 or an arm 32 due to the operation of a drive motor 46 to permit the work 10 to be machined a tapered or sloped work of tilt angle alpha. While a movement of the electrode guide 24, if shifted by a distance r2 toward the direction of an arrow mark B, can obtain a tilt angle beta in the reverse direction of slope.
