The boiler (1) includes a gas flow control valve (2) supplying gas to a burner (4);.a fume extractor (8) which removes the products of combustion; a extractor rotational Hall effect speed sensor (18), and; a control circuit (20) controlling the valve as a function of the rotational speed collected by the speed sensor. The control circuit opens the valve when the rotational speed falls within a first determined range, and closes it when the speed is within a second predetermined range. The upper end of the first range is less than the upper end of the second range.
