Magnetic stirrer has a flat heating element against the lower surface of a disk-shaped end cap, with an intermediate insulating layer. The heating element and the insulating layer are pressed together by a locking plate and an insulating body on the lower surface of the locking plate. The body separates or insulates the cap with its heating from the locking plate. Magnetic stirrer, with a heated disk-shaped end cap, has a flat heating element (7) in a serpentine structure placed against the lower surface of the disk-shaped end cap (5), with an intermediate insulating layer (8). The heating element and the insulating layer are pressed together by a locking plate (9) and an insulating body (10) at the lower surface of the locking plate, turned against the cap. The body separates or insulates the cap with its heating from the locking plate. A collar (11) secures the end cap to the casing of the magnetic stirrer.
