The drawing pen assembly comprises a holder (46) for a pen nib end (48) with stylus (50), a cleaning needle (56) which extends through the ink duct in the stylus and carries a weight (54), an ink (60) reservoir (14) in the cartridge (10) and an injection duct (52) which connects the reservoir to the stylus and contains the weight (54). A ventilation system (opening 24 is part) extends upwards from the nib and the ink is supplied via a needle which extends through an opening in the top of the tube (52) and may carry a weight (70). A cap (58) protects the stylus when not in use.
