<p>The dredger vessel can be separated into sections, having a ladder with an excavator, wheel or profiled suction pipe. This supports a further suction pipe running up to the bull, the end of the ladder being suspended by a block and tackle. The detachable units (8, 9) from which the vessel (1) is assembled, have the dimensions of standard freight containers, its foremost part (7) equipped with the block and tackle (11) forming a separate pontoon from which the ladder end is suspended. The ladder with suction pipe (4) has a universal pivot joint (5) coupling it to the after part (6) of the vessel, and can be swung to the side by slewing ropes (14).</p> |
