PURPOSE:To collect solar heat efficiently using a simple structure by a method wherein a solar heat collecting cylinder is provided in a semi-circular cylinder, which is arranged approximately vertically in such a manner as to be rotatable horizontally. CONSTITUTION:A sunlight incidence window 4 is provided at the front opening portion of a reflecting mirror 2 formed by vapor depositing aluminum or the like on the inside surface of a slender semi-circular cylinder 1, in which is contained a solar heat absorbing cylinder 8. The cylinder 8 comprises a light absorbing surface formed by coating carbon paint on the inside surface of a cylinder made of plastic or glass, and is provided with a selective absorption surface on its surface. The cylinder 8 is fixed between the bottom surface 12 and the top surface 13 of the cylinder 1 by screws 14. The cylinder 1 is rotatably fitted at fixing portions 16 to a support arm 15 fixed to a strut 18, and the lower portion of the cylinder 8 is also fitted to the strut 18 by a rotational angle adjusting lever 17. |
