PURPOSE:To reduce the starting impact-torque of an electric motor for protection by attaching elastic members which have a specified compression-spring constant to the axial projector of the outside of the bearings supporting the rotor shaft of the motor. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor with a reduction gear is composed of a gear case 1, intermediate bracket 2, primary gear braid 3, secondary gear braid 4, secondary shaft 5, motor housing 6, rotor 7, rotor shaft 8, end bracket 9, and bearings 10a and 10b. Elastic members consisting of a washer 11 and a rubber plate 12 are attached to the axial projector of the outside of the bearings 10a and 10b. The compression-spring constant k kg/m of the rubber plate 12 is to be (0.5-0.1)phiO tan<2>beta/ r<2>, where phiO is the comprehensive torsion spring constant, r(m) is the pitch radius of the motor pinion, and beta(degree) is the torsional angle of the motor pinion. |
