PURPOSE:To improve a line quality to increase the transmission capacity, by generating a compensating wave, which has the same amplitude as the interference wave and has a phase opposite to it, automatically for the polarized interference wave from the wave of the interference source side and by synthesizing this generated wave and the polarized interference wave to cancel the polarized interference wave. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that the square part of the element of rotary waveguide 3 is inclined at angle theta for the horizontal plane, an Ecostheta components output appears in the output of this element if vertical electric field vector E is incident onto this part. When this output is inputted to orthogonal polarization separator 5, components of Ecostheta, sintheta and Esin<2>theta appear in output port A and output port B respectively. By providing variable phase shifter 7 on the compensation path of output port A to vary the phase continuously, a compensating wave, which has the same amplitude as the interference wave and a phase opposite to it, to cnacel the interference wave to polarized wave II from polarized wave I can be generated. |
