PURPOSE:To constitute a transmission system which is simple and small in loss, by integrating the functions of photo switch and photo coupler. CONSTITUTION:Photo outputs from light emitting parts 29a-29c in station C are supplied into a photo switch 40 by way of optical fibers 12-14, and the information from one of the optical fibers is reflected by a dielectric multilayer film filter 31 in the switch 40 to be input into an optical fiber 11, thus reaching station A through a main fiber 20. On the other hand, the photo switch change-over indication signal from station A is supplied to the switch 40 through the fiber 20. This light transmits through the dielectric multiplayer film filter and is input into a photo detector. The output signal from the photo detector is input into a control part 37 through an amplifier 36 and transformed into a specified drive control signal to be supplied into the driving part of the switch 40. The driving part rotates the dielectric multiplayer film filter and changes over the coupling state of the optical fiber 11 with optical fibers 12-14. Thus, in a simple constitution, a low-loss transmission system may be constituted. |
