Insulation board is made by spraying polymeric insulation material downwards on to a continuous supporting sheet or foil which has already been degreased. The insulation may be of constant or varying thickness: that of constant thickness may be controlled by overlaying with a second layer of board or foil or a level controlled by ancillary guide rolls. Used for mfr. of panels faced with metal (Al, steel) or non-metallic (wood, fibrocement) with a core of expanded polyurethane foam generated in situ. |
