<p>Hooks at the head and foot of the gate each comprise a hollow internally threaded stub axle (8,9) on an horizontally elongated plate (25,26), being fixed to the respective brackets by two bolts (16,30). One bolt (16) passes through a bracket slot (18) to screw (14) into the axle (8). The other bolt (30) passes through a plain bracket hole (32) and a hinge plate slot hole (28) to receive a nut. The axles enter gate sockets (6), and transverse adjustment may be afforded by using bolts (35) through horizontal slot holes (34) to fix the foot bracket (11) to the post.</p> |
