PURPOSE:To reduce the size of display section and to facilitate handling, by providing paper size indicators and a common switch on a display panel. CONSTITUTION:Paper size indicators 51-56 and common switch S1 are arranged on a display panel, closing S1 in the direction (a) permits all the usable paper sizes to be confirmed by lighting of each indicator, and closing S1 in the direction (b) permits a paper tray to be selected. Copying start actuates control circuit 6 to automatically select an upper tray, and lights one of indicating lamps 51, 52. Closing S1 in the direction (a) allows each indicator 5 to be all lighted by the input signals of size detection switches S2-S4, and rendering S1 neutral causes the paper size of the upper tray to be indicated. Instantaneously closing S1 in the direction (b) causes the lower tray to be selected and indicated. |
