<p>The glazing bar adapts to single or double glazed situations without requiring thermal bridging. It comprises an 'I' section with clip-on flange pieces (4,5). Thermal transfer is prevented by a rectangular section web bar (6) of insulating material e.g. plastics and with longitudinal grooves (6A) at regular centres in each major face. Pairs of elastic 'L' section tongues (4A,5A) may cantilever from the flange pieces, providing square pincer formations which house the respective web (6) ends whilst latching into grooves (6A). The inner (4) and outer (5) pieces may be of a double stemmed 'T' section and a triple 'U' section respectively,.</p> |
