PURPOSE:To indicate information corresponding to the requirement of the driver as an aid in operating the automobile through combination of a modulation type magnetic sensor, an AD converter, a control switch, a digital computer and an indication means. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic sensor 1 is mounted to the body in such a manner that the reference direction of the sensor coincides the running direction of the automobile. The output of the magnetic sensor 1 is inputted into the digital computer 5 through AD converters 2 and 3 while the output of the speed sensor 8 is inputted into the computer. When the control switch 701 is off, the digital computer 5 indicates the actual position of the automobile on a display means 6. When the control switch 701 is on, the running direction of the automobile is indicated. |
