<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the well balanced caliper by an arrangement wherein a pair of bosses are provided at the stationary supporter to fit and fix both ends of the pin and the pin is slidably penetrated through the boss provided at the caliper and located between a pair of bosses. CONSTITUTION:A caliper 18 has a boss 18a located between a pair of bosses 17g, 17h which are provided at an arm 17a of a stationary supporter 17 disposed at inner side of a disc 16. A pin 22 is slidably penetrated through the boss 18a. In such a way, the caliper 18 is supported at the boss 18a since the caliper 18 slides along the pin 22. Thus, there is caused no relative displacement between the supporting point of the caliper 18 and the center of gravity of the caliper 18 with the movement of the caliper 18. Therefore it becomes possible to balance the caliper 18 at any time by providing the boss 18a of the caliper 18 on the line passing the center of gravity of the caliper 18.</p> |
