<p>A rammer, and a guideway for it, are incorporated in a portable unit for driving stakes or piles into ground on a construction site. It is used esp. for matching foundations for overhead cables. A mast (1) providing guidance for the rammer (2), is detachably and rotatably supported and mounted on a plate (7). It is fitted with one ore more slide rails (3). Additional cables (9, 10) are guyed to the ground, for stabilisation. The bottom of the mast may be detachably hinged (5, 6) to the plate, and the mast can be a metal lattice unit. The unit can be dismantled and moved from site to site on a small vehicle, and easily repositioned on site.</p> |
