Oxadiazole derivs. of formula (I) are new. R1 is H, 1-4C alkyl opt. substd. by Me, halogen or 1-3C alkoxy; R2 is 1-4C alkyl; R3 is 1-4C alkyl, 1-6C alkylamino, allylamino or NR4R5, where R4 and R5 are 1-3C alkyl or together form a 5- or 6-membered ring opt. contg. an O atom; X is O or S. (I) have insecticidal and acaricidal activity, e.g. against Tetranychus, Aphis, Musca, Phyllodromia, Epilachna, Calandra, Tenebrio and Spodoptera spp.
